Course Description
The Level 3: Advanced Thai Massage course takes place once a year; during the first week of March.
The primary focus of this course will be to teach you how to use your elbows, knees, and feet instead of your hands and palms and to teach you more difficult stretches and joint mobilizations. You will learn the proper use of body weight and positioning and when to utilize these advanced techniques.
Our courses emphasize hands-on training and practical experience. In addition to working with the instructor and other students, you can practice your new skills on Sirius Health client volunteers on the fourth training day.
This course will begin daily with Thai Yoga (Reusi Dat Ton) or Qigong. Course content will include a discussion of ergonomics and proper breathing and introduce the Thai element theory. We will also discuss client maintenance and the relationship between Thai massage with Buddhism and Jivaka Komarabhacca.
By the end of the course, you will know 87 acupressure variations and 65 new stretches that you can integrate with your standard Thai massage sequence.
@Sirius Health
Wouldn't you love to know how to do this incredible form of Thai massage? Maybe start your own Thai massage business or treat your friends and family?
In this combination of in-person and online Thai massage course, Grant will guide you step by step to show you from the basic massage techniques to more advanced on how to give your massage clients an incredible Thai massage experience.
Schools typically teach Traditional Thai Massage as a system of sequences. We have developed a different and vastly improved approach. We teach you the entire system with its many sequences. But we also help you to go beyond those sequences and learn many specialized therapeutic applications.
We strongly focus on therapist-friendly ways of working to keep therapists healthy and inspired, and we focus on working with the energy components that make Thai Massage so effective.
What Makes Us Different
Our courses emphasize hands-on training and practical experience, so we ensure that you have lots of time to practice.
To ensure that our instructor has time to work with each student, we limit our class size to eight students.
Each course we give our students the opportunity to practice their new skills on a Sirius Health client volunteer.
