The Level 4: Therapeutic Thai Massage course takes place once a year; during the first week of May.
The primary focus of this course is to teach you how to use Thai massage to address specific ailments such as shoulder, hip, back or knee pain. You will learn the location of points for each disorder and the techniques to work correctly on these points for effective healing. You will also learn how to plan Thai massage sequences for specific conditions.
Our courses emphasize hands-on training and practical experience. In addition to working with the instructor and other students, you can practice your new skills on Sirius Health client volunteers on the fourth training day.
By the end of the course, you will be able to design Thai massage sequences that combine techniques from levels 1 to 3 with the new pressure points to address specific therapeutic issues.

Schools typically teach Traditional Thai Massage as a system of sequences. We have developed a different and vastly improved approach. We teach you the entire system with its many sequences. But we also help you to go beyond those sequences and learn many specialized therapeutic applications.
We strongly focus on therapist-friendly ways of working to keep therapists healthy and inspired, and we focus on working with the energy components that make Thai Massage so effective.

Grant Martens
Grant Martens is the owner and founder of Sirius Health and is recognized as a Registered Instructor and an Advanced Registered Thai Therapist by the Thai Healing Alliance International (THAI). Grant is licensed by the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) as a Thai Massage Practitioner.
Grant received his first Thai massage in 2016 at the Gellert Bath and Spa in Budapest when he was travelling across Europe with his family and was utterly amazed by the experience. Grant then travelled to Thailand and took his first training from the Thai Massage School of Thailand in Chiang Mai in 2018. During this time, Grant also had private sessions with Mr. Nat at the Suppatra Blind Massage clinic.
Grant returned to Chiang Mai in 2021 and completed his CAPT at the International Training Massage School (ITM). He also took numerous short courses at Ong’s Thai Massage School during this visit.
Grant is the author of this modern curriculum of Northern-style ancient Thai massage. He incorporates movements and breathing techniques from Qigong and Reusi Dat Ton, creating a unique healing art.

Are there any prerequisites for this course?
Yes. The prerequisites for this course are Level 1: Thai Massage Foundations, Level 2: Intermediate Thai Massage and Level 3: Advanced Thai Massage.
Where do the classes take place?
Our school is located in the heart of Saskatoon in the River Landing district, close to accommodation available for rent and a plethora of food vendors and restaurants to satisfy all tastes and budgets.
Will I receive a certificate for this training?
At the end of each course, you will need to complete a practical examination and receive a mark of 70% or higher. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate accredited by Thai Healing Alliance International (THAI) and the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).
How long will I have access to the online resource?
You will have lifetime access to the online resources.
In what language do you teach?
Grant teaches all courses in English.
What if I want a refund?
You must pay for the course in advance to secure your place. You may receive a full refund up to two weeks before the start date, 75% up to 7 days in advance, and 50% up to the start date. There is no refund after the class has started.
