Course Description
This online Thai Foot Massage course teaches you how to confidently deliver a complete 60-minute Thai foot massage sequence in the supine position. The training emphasizes clear structure and smooth pacing, guiding you step by step from warm-up to finish. Drawing on the principles of Thai foot reflexology, you’ll use thumbs, fingers, knuckles, and a wooden massage stick to apply precise pressure, creating a deeply relaxing, full-body effect through the feet.
Course Summary
In addition to the practical sequence, the course delves into the full theory behind Thai Foot massage so you can understand why this approach is far more than just a standard foot rub. I teach Thai foot massage as a focused healing therapy that works specific reflex points and zones on the feet—reflecting the body as a whole, according to Traditional Thai Medicine. You’ll gain insight into the traditional treatment flow, including key elements like foot cleaning, warming and stretching, stick work, reflex point techniques, and finishing massage (which may extend to the lower legs). Practical adaptations for working with or without oil/cream are also covered, allowing you to tailor the experience to your style and setting.
This course emphasizes real learning over rote memorization, teaching the intent and rationale behind each technique. By placing the work within the broader framework of Thai healing traditions, you can make informed choices, troubleshoot effectively, and adapt sessions with confidence. The program includes video instruction, detailed text explanations for techniques and theory, and a digital workbook for easy reference while you practice. While the course doesn’t provide Thai massage certification, you’ll receive a digital certificate of completion to print and showcase your achievement.
